Now a regular face on British TV, Nish Kumar has achieved global success and critical acclaim since kickstarting his career as student of the University of Durham. It was there he met fellow comic Tom Neenan, embarking on a raucous journey together as the double act 'Gentlemen of Leisure'. In 2012, Kumar debuted his first solo show 'Who Is Nish Kumar' and went on to earn a spot on Dave's 'Ten Funniest Jokes of The Fringe', as well as selling out two runs at one of London's most prestigious comedy venues: The Soho Theatre. Kumar quickly followed the show with 'Nish Kumar is a Comedian' in 2013, earning himself even more five star reviews and more sold out shows. In amongst that, Kumar has cultivated a longstanding reputation on screen across shows like BBC Three's 'Sweat The Small Stuff' and 'Live at the Edinburgh Festival' as well as appearances on 'Alan Davies As Yet Untitled', 'The Alternative Comedy Experience' and his namesake 'The Kumars' on Sky One for which he regularly writes for. Now, Kumar is gearing up to unleash 'It's In Your Nature to Destroy Yourselves' this September, a new show exploring politics, self destruction, and apocalypse scenarios.
