Biography

Welsh rock band Feeder rose to fame in 2001 after the lead single “Buck Rogers” from their third single ‘Echo Park” broke into the UK Top 5 singles. They formed in the early 1990s, going through several names and several band members, until Grant Nicholas (vocals & guitar), Jon Lee (drums) and Taka Hirose (bass) settled on the name Feeder began their journey. After the success of “Buck Rogers”, Lee committed suicide and ex Skunk Anansie drummer Mark Richardson stepped in until 2009 where he returned to his previous band, and so the group continued on as a duo. After 2012 the pair took a hiatus, returning in 2016 with ‘All Bright Electric’ and are said to be bringing out a nine-track album entitled ‘Arrow’ in late 2017.
