About

The British singer quickly gained reputation for scoring high on the charts, following her vocals on DJ Fresh’s single ‘Hot Right Now’ and debut album ‘Ora’ in 2012, both reaching number one on the Official Charts. She went on to score three more number one singles featured on the album, and six years on, is still breaking records as she became the British female artist with the most UK Top Tens. Her second album 'Phoenix' is released in November, 2018 and features tracks such as 'Anywhere', 'Let You Love Me' and 'Your Song'. Ora was born in Yugoslavia (Kosovo), but moved to London in 1991 aged one. Growing up in Notting Hill, she found a passion for singing at an early age. She signed a record deal with Roc Nation in 2008 and began releasing covers and videos online. These were noticed by DJ Fresh, who appointed Ora to provide the vocals for his upcoming tack. Since the release of ‘Hot Right Now’, Ora collaborated with more artists, toured several cities around the world, including playing at the renowned Glastonbury, and has won several awards, including a MOBO Award for ‘Best Newcomer’ in 2012 and an MTV ‘Power of Music Award’ in 2017. Outside of music, Ora has participated in many diverse projects. She acted in the Fifty Shades Franchise, which she also provided the soundtrack for with ‘For You’ with Liam Payne. She has also designed for Adidas, appeared as a guest judge on the X Factor and The Voice, presented ‘America’s Next Top Model’, and scored a Rimmel makeup campaign.
